Questions on applying for a job

You can apply online for each job vacancy that contains the »Apply« button. Otherwise you will find a postal address or email address to which you can send your application documents in the advertisement.

Please provide us with your full application documents. These should include the following: an individual application letter, your curriculum vitae and in particular your certificates and references from employers.

The Fraunhofer IMWS complies with the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz). For more precise information, please refer to our data protection statement. This is displayed to you in the online application; if you apply to us by email or post, we send you a copy with the confirmation of receipt.

We anonymize your data after six months at the latest. We then use the anonymized data records for statistical analyses only. You can withdraw your application at any time and delete your profile in the Fraunhofer appointments section. If you do not delete it yourself, we keep your data in our database for maximum six months following completion of the employment procedure. Please note our data protection provisions. With your application you declare your consent to its conditions.

If you have not found a suitable position under the current vacancies, we will be pleased to receive your speculative application. If you are interested in a position with the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft head office or in another Fraunhofer institute, please apply directly there.

TVöD is the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Public Sector (“Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst”).  The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft bases its employment, remuneration and social benefits on the provisions of this collective bargaining agreement.
